Saint John Paul II Wadowice
First stop is just after 45 minutes journey from Kraków in his home town Wadowice. On a little town square there is a Parish Church where he was baptised and a museum – his Family’s house where he was born and plenty of heirlooms. Pope John Paul II was elected in 1978. Since then he was against a communism rules and improved the Catholic Church`s relations with other religions. On the way back is a little town called Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. Unique in a Europ`s religious heritage signed on UNESCOS list in 1999. It is a Sanctuary with a complex of 42 chapels situated in Woods on a top of a hill. It is called by Poles a Polish Jerusalem. Last stop on way back to hotel is in Kraków – Devine Mercy Sanctuary. During a war time Sister Faustina lived and passed away there.

During this tour we’ll embark on a journey to John Paul II’s home town. After just 45 minutes of travel from Krakow, we’ll arrive at Wadowice’s little town square. There you can visit a Parish Church where he was baptised and a museum – his Family’s house where he was born and plenty of heirlooms.
